A bike tour starts with the preparation at home. And with that, the anticipation also begins. What do I bring? Am I going by train to the starting point? Which bicycle guide is available? We are happy to answer these questions here.
Follow the signsThe signposting of an LF route is simple and clear: the entire LF Maasroute is marked in both directions with signs that say ‘LF Maasroute’. This means that we can keep the instructions extremely short: “follow the signs”.
Take the road with the appIt includes details of the Maas Route. And also of the ‘Fietsers Welkom!’ establishments and accommodations. The app even tells you the ferry schedules.
Certificate and frame stickerDid you ride the entire LF Maas Route? Then you can apply for a suitable souvenir: a shield to stick onto your frame, a personal certificate and a mention in the gallery of honour.
Distance tableFor your convenience we have divided the LF Maas Route into eight stages. If you’d rather plan your trip yourself, the distance table will get you started.
Check the current infoAlmost ready to hop on your bike? Check the latest info before you go. Maybe a road has been diverted, a ferry is out of service or there’s been another route change. (in Dutch)
Take your bike with you on the trainYou have to make a reservation and buy a day ticket for bikes, which has a fixed rate regardless of the distance and destination.
With the smart GPX tracks you’ll never get lost again. Download the complete route here and get going using this handy navigation tool.
