Take your bike with you on the train

If you’d like to take your bike with you on the train, you can. You have to make a reservation and buy a day ticket for bikes, which has a fixed rate regardless of the distance and destination.

foto fiets in trein - foto Fietsplatform JKNormaly you only can take it in the off-peak hours, which means between 9 am and 4:30 pm and after 6 pm. In July and August you can take your bike at any hour. The fixed rate for a day ticket for bikes is € 7.50 (price 2020); the ticket is also valid with other transport companies. You can buy it at the train station ticket machines or online at Place your bicycle in the designated compartment of the train, indicated by the bike sticker on the side of the train.
